This is Christmas card 1999. As you can tell we had an adition to our houshold this year. Alton joined Me, Carl and Kendon in our family. We were still living in our small two bedroom apartment but had an offer accepted on a house that we moved into the following January. We were tightly cramped for space and all of our nonesentials were packed in boxes all over the apartment.
This was also taken with my K100 with black and white film and later scaned for this blog. I had a makeshift "studio" in the boys' room (black material hanging from the wall). When Kendon saw this picture recently he asked why he was naked. If you look real close he does have white shorts on. There is actually alot of pictures I liked on this roll but I picked this one for the card
As for wedding number six this year I got it as a referral because I did the bride's cousin last year. Jenna and Eric had a beautiful wedding. I loved Jenna's tiarra because it was different with pink and white rhinestones. It made for a nice black/white and color picture because her flowers were also pink. The wedding itself was a dramatic black and white color scheme with pink accents. At their reception there was a fire truck that I used to take pictures of the wedding party (minus bride and groom because the groom is deathly alergic to bees). Considering it was a cool day I was surprised how many bees were out. Later when the sun was going down I got some great pictures of them walking into the sunset. I also got pictures of them by the fire truck. They couldn't have asked for a beter day!!
Tomorrow night Christmas card 2000 and wedding number seven.
